Despite the glorious sunshine today, I didn't have a whole lot of successes finding subjects to pose for me. I think I lost count after the third rejection :( Anyway, I guess it's character building to be a bit stubborn, and I was eventually rewarded with this portrait of an assistant in a whiskey shop. Even this nearly didn't happen, because when I wandered into her shop she was making a phone call to the police to report an attempted shop lifting. I was about to leave straightaway, but another customer told me I should stay.
So given her ordeal, I was pleasantly surprised that she put up with my requests for a portrait, and then asked for the URL to check out my personal website of street portraits.
A very patient lady.
