In the entrance hallway......

....... beneath the tower of yesterday's blip, hangs this magnificent light fitting. An original, it has unfortunately lost one of it's glass shades.

Like the tower it goes largly unnoticed by those entering the mansion house although it cannot go unmissed as you descend the stairs on the way out. On looking up directly under it one will see wonderful brasswork against the pristine white plaster ceiling. (for future blip)

This light fitting is the partner the stair finials of my 10 January blip.
