State of Wow...

Bus snooze music is of a specific ilk. It can have lyrics but they can't be overly complicated and mostly background to rhythm and melody but is generally is better without. Soft dulset tones help, nothing harsh. Nice easyish listening.

I loaded an album which I knew for me would fit the bill. James Blake's self titled album album that was nominated for the last Mercury Prize. It's dark, electronic and sounds slightly disjointed but works very, very well as bus snooze music.

Only problem is, when you come back to clarity at the end of the journey arriving at a soggy pre-dawn city centre, it does cast a rather haunting shadow on the scene.
