Monday: The Not Very New Old Town

Spent the day meeting new colleagues at the office in Zagreb and looking at a range of properties with a view to choosing one to be our home for the next four years.  

Some were easy to dismiss straightaway, some took a lot more consideration and thought and trying to see ourselves in it...............

At the end of the day, we got my colleagues to drop us off in town so we could explore the city a bit too.  Zagreb is divided into the medieval old town, and the 'new' town which is actually late 19th century and very Austro-Hungarian.  This is looking from the old town over the new town.
