Lake Tahoe

I forgot to say yesterday that I am in the States, at Lake Tahoe, skiing at Heavenly Valley. It's been a great week here, and today is the last day.

But after yesterday we were all so tired, so a slightly later start today. Around 10 we were on the lifts. But that still didn't stop me doing 16 runs and 17 010 vertical feet. I probably should/could have done more, but after yesterdays leg burning powder day I felt a tad tired!

Anyway,. nicer weather today and finally some views of the lake. Fantastic.

Out to dinner shortly at South Lake Tahoe's brew pub, then hopefully early to bed, maybe after some packing. We drive back to San Francisco tomorrow and I head back to NZ.

It's great being away, but I am ready to get home, see the family, get back to work and start 2012!
