Brighten my day

Another grey morning in Michigan. I had hopes of seeing the Northern Lights last night, but that didn't happen.

In my kitchen I saw this beautiful bouquet that my husband brought home last Saturday...because it was Saturday and he does that.

I really liked the center of this daisy, and it made my day brighter just looking at it and knowing how it came to be on my table.

Lots to do today. Playdates and sleep-overs with Sanibel, and then a trip to a pediatric dental specialist tomorrow for her. But we won't talk about that today.
