Computer Bits

The amazing underside of a couple of old Pentium 4 processors lying about. Its just incredible when you consider the statistics of these processors: 478 contact pins, 42,000,000 transistors and all in a package about an inch square. All able to process a bit in under 0.000 000 000 6th of a second.

Clearly an electronics engineering achievement if there ever was one! The way how light jumps from pin to pin is quite incredible and the gold just draws you in even further.
