Fashion hound

A day of unremitting rain provided a perfect opportunity for Casey to take stock of his threads.

As befits a dog of distinction, he has an international wardrobe and for Blip he's selected a few items to illustrate his particular canine lifestyle.

First off (top left), a cosy fleece is the ideal everyday casual wear, just right to supervise the gathering of winter fuel or to stick your nose in the 101 jobbies jobs that make up the rural round.

Next (top right), the Russkies know a thing or two about winter weather and this snazzy snowsuit from St Petersburg enables a dog to be noticed in the frozen waste. It does have a serious design fault though - er, there's no aperture for the egress of urine, in other words: how does a fellow cock his leg?!

Bottom left, just chilling! Classic black hoodie direct from the mean streets of Philadelphia is perfect for a relaxed evening in. Homeboydog Casey likes to add a bit of bling for that extra touch of glamour.

Finally, for high days and holidays and any special occasion - it's Superdo-o-o-og!! This costume, all the way from Down Under, is a fitting tribute to the prowess of a Little Dog That Thinks It's A Big Dog. He may not spot rabbits when they cross his path but there's none faster at retrieving a ball. He doesn't know what to do with a rat but he'll destroy a stick in no time at all. And as for the postman, Casey's kept him at bay for these 10 years past. We are so grateful.
