Asian Store

I first tried these in the Chinese Gardens in Portland, Oregon. They accompanied an exquisite jasmine tea which I savored while looking out over the pond. These are melon seeds, flavored with salt, star anise, clove, and licorice among others.

I was very excited to find them in our local recently opened Asian grocery store. As a proper Homarano (citizen of the world in Esperanto), I happily mix and match my foods from all over the planet. :-)
