Flung!

This is an image which should have been snowdrops.
However, I'm still holding out for snow. Snowdrops in snow might be a nice shot?
It's good to know they're out there though. Waiting :-)

I was indoors, minding my own business.
Out of the corner of my eye I saw something fly past the window.
And again.
And again, until a veritable storm of 'stuff' was flying towards the ground, from 'up there'.

I popped outside with the camera around my neck, to investigate.
I was too slow to catch the ideal shot, which was (what's the collective noun for jackdaws?) let's say a drove (I was driven to look it up, some say 'a darkening')
a drove of jackdaws on the roof.
And they were ALL hurling these clumps of licheny moss to the ground.
Were they playing? Was there something scrumptious to eat in them? Who knows?
They all flew off anyway, before I captured them. Clearly I had spoilt the game.
So I give you evidence of it, instead of snowdrops.

The good news is IT'S FRIDAY! The red wine forecast has ALREADY come TRUE!
