" Sunrise , Sunset..."

After yesterday's sunrise followed by a totally colourless day. we had a dull start to the day which ended with this glorious sunset ; made me think of that old song as in the title. I reckon this must tbe the sky gencra was looking at on his way to his weekend home.

Heavy snowfall with flakes the size of small snowballs. It lay for most of the morning before thawing out, thank goodness for that. Very wary as we have to travel over the Rest on Sunday night . Changed our [lans now because of the forecast and are hading mid - day sunday , staying over night near the airport rather than risk not getting over the Rest in time.
