Copper Instincts

We have discovered this amazing furniture that is made in Patzcuaro. The company owner was staying in our complex over Christmas and we got to talking about how beautiful his creations are. In typical Mexico fashion, one thing led to another and now my wife has agreed to casually represent Copper Instincts in the Zihuatanejo area. What this meant initially was that we received a piece to showcase at La Fiesta De Artistas last Sunday. She, of course, sold it right away and we decided we had to get photographs before the customer came to pick it up. Each piece of the rather extensive line of furniture is made from recycled wood beams and hand-hammered, reclaimed copper. The are quite stunning, especially in person. This photo attempts to show some of that craftsmanship, but does not really do it justice.
