Not a whisper
After the crisp cold weather of yesterday it's reverted back to normal - misty greys and soft rain and not a whisper of wind.
A quick trip to Durrus to buy the Irish Daily Mail, not a paper I would normally look at but they have done an article on the threat to small schools and our school is the focus. I was surprised how good the article is - very clear and factual and a some great photos of the children. The Minister for Education doesn't appear to be wavering so it looks as though there will be a day of action and a march on the Dail (Parliament). The thought of going all the way to Dublin and back in a bus makes my heart sink - I know I shall be sick, but the cause is good. I met Mr D in the shop and he informed me that in fact 6 generations o fhis family had attended the school, and there are 3 in the wings ready to start. I bet he'd march with us!
I should be cleaning but I think I shall now do a little work on my website.
