Looking up to her Brother

Today was a sad day, because it was the day my Mum left to return to her home. We walked her to the bus stop this afternoon, and while waiting for the bus, Aiden was wishing the time would stand still, she is so fond of my Mum and hates it when she has to leave, so there was a few tears after we said Goodbye and saw her off.

It wasn't too much longer and then Blaine and I managed to cheer her up though.

It was lovely having my Mum here for the few days, and means so much to each of us. It's often just enough to be with someone. I don't need to touch them. Not even talk. A feeling passes between you both. You're not alone.

For Aiden it means so much more because she thinks Grandmothers are just "antique" little girls and enjoys having my Mum join her in all her games, dancing sessions and craft moments.
