Sunset by the sea!

We have come back to Kent for a week, and it feels as though we have never been away! Everything is so wonderfully familiar....don't get me wrong, I don't regret moving one bit but to see such familiar sights is very warming!

This sunset was just beautiful and I had forgotten how much I loved the sunsets here. Who would have thought that I would be so happy to hear the seagulls again? Not a sound I consciously missed but so familiar to my ears!

We called in to the local supermarket to buy food and bumped into a person who we have known for many years ... not a friend but someone we would always chat to. I said, 'it's as if we've never been away' and he said, 'where have you been then?' When we told him we had moved away over 12 months ago he was amazed, he had not known!! Now he knows we've gone he says he'll miss us!!!!!!
