England's green and pleasant ....

This is Verulamium park, one of the many green open spaces around this area. J particularly likes this because it has remnants of the old Roman wall which he's fascinated by, I like the views to the Abbey and C likes the fact he can ride his scooter down slopes at great speed.
The walks around here make me want to get a dog, I think that St A is good place to have one, but there are many considerations - watch this space - although we'd better buy a house first! I've been looking at houses for the last few weeks and of course, what we really want/need is just out of our grasp, so we will be compromising one way or another. I love the Victorian streets around town but the houses are cottage style and pretty small, unfortunately go further out, and the houses aren't very attractive - just my view of course - so it's working out if we can buy somewhere smaller and make changes to it, in a nice area, or just bite the bullet and move slightly out of town. I still don't know the answer so I think we're just waiting for something to jump out at us!
