Is it snowing yet?

The boys were promised snow by the weather forecast last night and were expecting it as soon as they woke up this morning - alas, no snow - frosty and very very cold, but not snowy.
We went out for a long scooter ride this morning in the cold, but apart from that, we've just been inside playing, reading (well Rich and I were trying to read the paper) and generally hanging out. After a whole afternoon of said hanging out, J eventually flopped over the arm chair and exclaimed that he had been waiting for snow all day - then, he looked up at the skylight and there is was! I can't say that it's a whole lot of snow, more intermittent flakes - but it's enough to ensure that he will be looking out for it at the crack of dawn this morning!
