A symphony of drips
1. Not long after I take last nights blip I start to notice an unfamiliar noise coming from the kitchen. The strange marks I spotted on the ceiling earlier have started to do their thing and there's a great big leak. I monitor it, I run upstairs to make sure the neighbours are actually ok and not having some kind of bath-based horror film, but with no answers, I head to bed - the drips ringing in my ears.
2. It's not every day I have my landlord over before 8am, although it does finally prompt me to clean my hall floor, which had started to become a tumble weed strewn wasteland.
3. Plumbers, neighbours, landlords and buckets of water. It takes a while, but the drips stop about 3pm and I head out to my grown up afternoon.
4. I meet the second Graham in my life today, my new Financial Advisor. I really like him. On the way I meet the very funny Barry Hunter and the very funny Douglas Maxwell. It's amazing what a trip out in the afternoon can do.
5. Time to kill I head to Eat cafe for that salad and a pudding, the rain forces me into the pub for a solo half pint before heading over to view another flat. We embark on the journey back and plum for the granary - a Burns Supper of sorts and some very good blethers, o.
