Chicken

So, it has taken me a while, but I got back to Blipping. I could sit for pages and write all the excuses under the sun, but I won't, just got a bit lazy over the past year or so. Spent some time on Friday with a good friend, she's having a tough time at the moment. Said friend has been there for me (cue violins) throughout everything that happened with Craig, the old man (and the old woman...) and I hate seeing her so defeated - she's one of those irritating friends who deals with things really well, all the time and is very switched on... Irritating is perhaps a slight exaggeration. John Peel, in a writing about his friends, said "We should make more of a fuss about our friends". I don't think ever a truer word has been spoken. So, fuss shall definitely be made. In the form of M&S food, flowers (not carnations, dear god don't give her carnations), nice bathy things and the hire of my lugs.

- Went for a walk up near Blair Atholl with J today, fresh air always makes a rare difference to how you feel. BRAW.
