German Friendship Cake

One of the customers at the coffee shop brought me a portion of sourdough batter to love and nurture into a fully grown cake. Today is day 8 and tomorrow I need to pass on a portion to 3 more friends. I have already chosen my victims friends and copied out these instructions for them, so in the morning I just need to fulfill day 9's instruction and divide the mix up. Once it's cooked I'll blip the finished product ... I'm quite looking forward to it as I feel a certain amount of attachment to a cake I've been nurturing for a week and a half!
