Last straw

After 21.48 miles the effort required to lift our feet to show the mud on our boots and trousers really did feel like the last straw!

However after a very, very grey day (but thankfully no rain) and the desire to try and keep the pace up to ensure we got back before it got too dark, the photo op's were somewhat limited and it had to be done!
