Hector

Think it must be a sign of the times as there are bunches of people collecting scrap metal at the moment. This chap called Hector is retired US Navy and spends his days collecting old fridges, stoves, and other dead household appliances.

Been meaning to call him all week but forgot. Today I remembered and as luck would have it, he was actually down this way! So wave goodbye to some crabby old gas stove.

The other reason to use Hector is because Lowes will collect old appliances when they deliver new appliances - but then why give it to some multi billion dollar corporation, when you can give it to Hector?
