Another Day Dawns

I wasn't expecting to see the sun this morning, so when the sky started to brighten I was in two minds whether to go out for a blip or not. On checking. the wind outside was strong and icy cold, therefore the decision to stay indoors was easy.

However, as I got dressed I noticed the colours in the sky getting richer and the cloud formations more interesting. I grabbed the camera and opened a Velux window on the roof to get a few shots. As I was doing so the sun appeared over the horizon in a bright glow and today's blip was in the bag. Seagulls had been flying about and a few that remained can be seen better in LARGE. The wind was that strong it threatened to blow the window off its hinges, so I wasn't hanging about for any more shots!

A bit of a lazy blip, but at least I kept warm!
