Snowdrops

Got woken early by the phone so staggered out for a walk before work.
There's a footpath that goes from Winchester to Kingsworthy and that's where I went. It was very wet and there was snow in the wind. But I loved these snowdrops - it's how I like to see them grow, in great drifts, not like the 3 and a half poking up their little heads by my front door.
It would have been nice to get nearer, but there was a socking great stream all along the side of the path. Also, I expect the owner wouldn't have liked it.
In the end, though, I was happy enough with the shot I got - all that lovely moss and the sleeping tree. How January is that!
