Reflections

There was lovely light in the sky today but my camera couldn't do it justice. The sun was shining behind the clouds and in the cloud gaps was a pale peachy colour.

Walking along Lady Mary's Walk with Bruce, the air was cold and the ground frosty. Bruce was chasing sticks as usual having fun and rootling in around tree bases and under the old Autumn beech leaves that lie thickly at the side of the walk.

The photo today is taken further along the walk towards a deeper part of the River Earn. I loved the reflections of the trees and smaller bushes. This is a spot popular with anglers and people who stop as I did to sit awhile and enjoy the peace and tranquility.

I stopped to watch a pair of mallards both sitting side by side on a huge rock in the middle of the river. Recently the rock was barely visible above the swirling water but today, the level was down and it gave the handsome pair a place to sit and be admired.
