Sunday = Market Day
Today Lauren and I headed to La Feria de San Telmo. Lauren had her first choripan and we spent a couple of hours wandering the 'Defensa' street, watching the street performers and seeing if anything caught our eye. We didn't manage to walk the whole length of the market, which is crazy considering we definitely walked at least a mile!
After having a coffee stop we headed back to the apartment to pack for MAR DEL PLATA woo! A lot of preparations were involved for our 5 day beach break so we decided to grab a pizza for dinner. Of course everything was left until the last minute and we didn't leave the house to collect our dinner until 10.15, baring in mind we were getting a taxi at 11. To make matters worse a guy from Texas heard our accents on the walk back and started chatting to us for a good 10 mins. This meant that we didn't leave the house until 11.15 which gave us half an hour to spare before our bus was due to leave.
As you know by now nothing is ever easy in Argentina and so after arriving at the bus terminal Lauren and I had a stress when we couldn't find any information about the bus we were to be taking. Finally we found an information desk for the bus company we were with. The confused look of the man looking at our tickets was slightly worrying and although everything worked out fine it the end it seems there was a problem with the bus we booked as we ended up travelling with a different bus company and at a different time..
