Scrabbling

My letters were terrible -P,E,N,S,I,O,N - but after a few minutes of thought I made my move -NO PENIS - Mrs Snaptilyoupop said it wasn't a word and so I went back to the drawing board for a few more minutes before selecting- NO- and so I earned two points. Hoo-ray!

Finally we're at the end of January- its been a dark old month but I got through it intact. I've had to scrabble about at times and sometimes felt I was going backwards but have emerged in one piece. A tired and fractious piece perhaps (with no peni..just joking) but in one piece nonetheless.

Exciting times lie ahead in February. Well, exciting times if you like dog walking 3 times a day, trying in vain to get a crying baby to sleep, working 5 days a week and large doses of general domesticity...

But there should be one or two nice distractions: filming a movie for Dad's birthday, our murder mystery (it's hilarious- I would say that, I wrote it!) and taking the first step towards putting the house on the market...
