To the point

My feet are sore today. Rather, my left foot is sore. I'd like to say its related to my recent spate of running and I've acquired a sexy sporting sprain but I think it's because my feet are being kept in shoes that are too thin and pointy.

I like these shoes. Until I bought them I was always a straightforward black shoe man but one day I went to a wedding and was seduced by the sight of a pair of brown bad-boys on the end of a random pair of legs.

The next day I went shoe shopping but couldn't decide on the best pair to buy. I narrowed it down to two and tried them on. Fair play to the shop assistant who managed to hide her amusement when I asked her "which ones made me look less of a creep" and I duly walked out a brown shoe owner.

Two days later I went back and bought the other pair as the first pair weren't nearly brown or pointy enough for my liking. I really do live on the edge sometimes!
