Just thinking..
I awoke this morning with nervous stillness, my neck....what would the situation be?
Sore, yet more mobile than I had expected. Good! It was off to Cambridge for me.....Dentist bound!
Cycling from the station, a chill icy wind with razor sharp snow flakes in it, was not much fun and the cold made my neck twinge. Pulling my snow glasses out of my bag I stopped at the traffic lights as a complete idiot tried to sneak through on a red light, some people are so dumb they hardly have the sense to sit strait on the toilet!!
My cracked tooth repaired and my wallet a lot lighter, I cycled into the city centre, took one look at all the people and turned straight round and back to the station. Quiet little home, that's where I wanted to be!
Off the train and down by the river. A lady had asked directions to the city centre and I was not sure if she had understood my directions, so, I waited at the River to make sure she had gotten it right. She was stunned that I had done so and we enjoyed a little chat as I pointed out the nearest Tea room (The most excellent PEACOCK'S!) which has the most amazing array of tea's!
I sat and watched the world go by for a while and then went for a coffee. My lovely wife joined me and we passed the time of day together, for as long as I have breath spending quiet time with her is heaven.
Home and the usual things that occupy us all await, nice that I am no longer dribbling from my numb mouth...
