Helping hand

First up - many, many thanks for all the comments on yesterdays blip. I haven't been great at replying of late. There are reasons, but no excuses. I hope to get back to each and every one of you sometime soon.

Second, now that the 1K milestone has passed, I'm looking for something a bit different. Something to reinvigorate what has been a rather lack lustre approach to photography of late. Not saying I haven't had some pictures that I like, but just that it has been hard to get into the frame of mind needed to go and take them. So I've been digging into the ipad and into the newstand app. Came across this blog via the freebie to the BJP. Trust and desire. Interesting ideas.

The image: a piece of wood that I picked up on our walk today. At first it reminded me of a similar piece I drew as part of my higher art exam many moons ago - then I realised it looked incredibly like an old, but well manicured finger.
I can think of a number of ways in which it may prove useful!

The man: much better today. A longer walk and I didn't break him this time. Yaay!
