These Tree Fellers

Part of the log pile at Archerfield, East Lothian after we lost close to one hundred trees in the gales after New Year.

This is the mostly softwood pile (pine, spruce and fir)

The hardwood pile is just as big!

The intention is, apparently, to store and use it as firewood over the next few years.
