Birthday!

Not only is it my 24th birthday (still coming to terms with being in my "mid-twenties"...) but apparently it is also my 10th blipday, so I get to progress from a Learner plate to a little grey camera - celebrations all round!

Had a lovely day over in Beauly with Mum and Step-Dad, and went for lunch and coffee and cake. If you can't eat copious amounts of cake on your own birthday when can you? If you're wondering, today's picture is of a little random candle-holder-thing at the cafe, again nice and colourful, and the candle (despite being made of plastic) makes it kind of birthday-ish. Excited for a visit back to Edinburgh tomorrow to catch up with some of my beloved uni friends who are still in the city. I love being at home but every so often need an Edinburgh 'fix' (which often involves a glass or several of alcoholic beverage...)!
