Fresh, Hot Bolillo

I know I have raved about bolillo a couple of times in the past, but I am not done. Today I was at the mercado to pick up half of my weekly ration (a half dozen this trip, another half dozen on Thursday). I was lucky as they had just delivered fresh bolillo, hot from the oven. If the sight of this mound of bolillo is not enough to get someone to buy, the heavenly aroma certainly is. The six I purchased still cost only 15 pesos (about $1US) and barely made a dent in this pile, so there were plenty left for other lucky shoppers.
