He who pays the piper

Saw this guy playing his heart and lungs out while I was on my way to the train station tonight. It sounded amazing - fast and melodic, and lighter than most bagpipe music.

There were quite a few people looking on, most of them snapping away with cameras and mobile phones. Obviously I was no exception - but I didn't see anyone else put their hand in their pocket and throw a coin in his instrument case.

C'mon tourists - do you think he's doing it for the good of his health? Maybe they think the entertainment's laid on by VisitScotland.
