Desk

I came across this desk in the physics department.

They've got all the cool stuff - only because it hasn't been refurbished (or ruined) yet. It's my favourite department.
Anything new within the University is devoid of any style whatsoever. It's frustrating how 'they' (whoever they are) have destroyed all fittings in the most beautiful lecture theatres, classrooms and research labs, only to replace them with an MDF and plastic hell.
Who thought that was a good idea?! I don't understand.
