rose-tinted

not a thrilling day, mostly spent lying around reading magazines and watching 'life on mars' on dvd, interspersed with grocery shopping and cooking pasta. nothing much to blip either, so i thought i'd offer up the new growth on my rose for inspection. it's getting a second wind, with about half a dozen buds forming already. makes up for the veg being a bit hit and miss.

also, it's appropriate because after brief but productive conversations last night and tonight, i'm feeling a little more rose-tinted in outlook. the cpr is working in part, and the part that i think is going to die i'm feeling ok about. (sorry to be a bit cryptic, but it's not fair on the other party to give name, rank & number in public, i feel.)

but gosh, life is bloody hard work sometimes!
