What are we?

I had to pick these things up today, they are going to be well travelled, they started life in Peterhead, they are currently on a truck heading for Great Yarmouth, thereafter they're off in a container to the sunnier climbs of Tunisia, where they'll be heading onto an oil rig.

These are Teflon drifts, I'm not sure what exactly they are for, but maybe by tomorrow I'll have found out.
