Today's the day ......................... to go to a funeral

We were up at the crack of dawn today because we had a funeral to go to - a couple of hours drive away from Ely.

It was the funeral of Will's Aunt Freda, the last surviving member of his mother's family. She had survived her brother Tom by only two weeks - and her death came as a huge shock to us all.

As always it was lovely to meet up with friends and family - the day ran smoothly and everything well. But recently, we seem to have met up too often for a sad reason. Let's hope that next time it will be to celebrate a happier occasion ..............................
