Rewarding bravery.

Master Four Year Old was very brave today.
Him: MUUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMM!!!! THERE'S A REALLY BIG SPIDER ON THE WALL!!!!

Me: Oh. Hunny, stay there and tell me if it moves. It's big, but it won't hurt you. I'll get thw bug spray.

Him: Okay........
THUD
Crazed giggling.
Him: (holding one of my shoes with bits of what was a spider) You're not so scary when you're dead.

Obviously he hasn't inherited my phobia... Either that or he's worked out that I'm useless when spiders are involved, and decided to deal with it himself.

A spider is easier to squish than comforting me after seeing a spider.
