There is a suburb in Melbourne called Darling, and it's anything but darling... Can you tell?
Though I did get a giggle... An automated woman's voice comes over the speakers announcing a train station on approach. Instead of something like "now approaching Darling Station", the saucy minx of a train simply said "darling".

Yes, today has been so tedious that I find a train calling me "darling" highly entertaining.
