Fundo de Figueiras

Another day out in 4x4 visiting the villages in the central area and the east coast with the beaches of Curral Velho, Ervatão a protected nesting area for turtles (July-September) and the incredible dunes of the Deserto de Viana.
This is a desert covering most of the north-western region, extending to the central region of the island of Boa Vista; it is approximately 15 km long from north to south and approximately 10 km from east to west.
