I don't know enough about the political issues surrounding the riots at last night's game between Al Masry and Al-Ahly but it always saddens me when this sort of thing happens.

Could it have been prevented or was it premeditated? Are the men of Mubarak still ruling...? It begs the question why opposing fans were allowed to fire rockets and stones at the home team with no intervention from the security in the stands. This is the latest in a long line of tragedies to affect African sport in recent years. Wonder when, if ever, it will end...

On a lighter note, much better day at school. A good night's sleep provided me with the energy I needed to get through the day without flagging. And suddenly it's Friday tomorrow, hurrah!
