Heather's chance.

Miss Shaw has asked Heather to show her what she can do with the sewing machine. This is Heather's chance to persuede her that she can do the work. It's a superb machine made in Germany and is very easy to use. The sewing room has a table for measuring and cutting cloth and an ironing board to remove the creases. Everything that is needed is there. Heather feels confident that she could be happy in this job. However she will have to wait till Mrs Grant and Miss Shaw have a discussion.
There is one more person David would like to introduce to Heather and he works in the office next door.
