Went up above the snow line this morning just to see just how much snow there's been up there. It was pretty deep and crisp and even.

This is Twizle Head Moss not far from Holme Moss transmitter mast. A couple of hundred yards away from here are the remains of a B-24H Liberator bomber of the 857th Bomb Squadron which crashed on 9 October 1944.

It's quite a view from up here. You can see the Holme Valley and Holmfirth spread out below - all of which is below the snow line and completely clear.

Didn't bring the oxygen mask so didn't stop long.
