Inside a begonia flower

There are male and female flowers on this hanging basket plant although I'm not sure which is which (and the resident biologist is unavailable!) but this is the "other half" of this one:

They have been wonderful this year even with the watering restrictions, although I do use rinsing water etc for a bit extra when it's really hot. Which it has been very infrequently!

Anyone else tired of endless wind and grey skies?
