Snowy

It has been snowing here most of the day but I took this just as it was starting to stick. I do feel for the poor birds in this weather and we do all we can to keep them supplied with food and unfrozen water!

It appears that even before the snow came today....we were trapped! We have a very long steep drive (more like a lane) between the house and the road. It is about 300 or so yards long. It had iced over completely when I walked up there this morning and would have been good (if a little dangerous ;) for bobsleighing down, but absolutely useless for driving up!

Now that it has snowed too, I feel sure that we are probably iced/snowed in again. Last year we were stuck down here for ten days due to the snow, so let's hope it is a lot less than that, this time!

We also had a lot of ice last year as you can see from this (quite funny)! ;-)
