Failure!

So....all our snow and ice went and it was relatively warm here today (about 8 degrees)! In celebration of not being snowed in, we went out for a drive over the Brecon Beacons to Usk Reservoir.

It was honestly really stunning up there...gorgeous scenery, beautifully desolate and unspoilt. BUT yet again Lizzie's photographical ineptitude wins out as I could not capture it! Even looking on the back of the camera I could tell the photos weren't right - I just could not make the camera 'see' what I saw!

So...this I THINK is about the best of a pretty poor bunch. It really is such a shame (sighs).

Anyway, we stopped off in Llandeilo on the way home for a treat (more like a cheat....very naughty on my diet) and a drink and we watched the Ireland v Wales game there (Hooray), before coming home, where I am now about to snuggle in front of the fire for the night!
