Snow Angel

The coldest night of the year so far here in north Wiltshire. I was working this morning in the study with Smokey keeping me company while guarding his Byrds box set, and I had no plans to go out.

After lunch the forecast snow arrived and before long there was a light dusting covering the ground. I wrapped up and went out with the camera to see what I could find. I took some pictures in the garden, in the public garden over the road (no Doberman this time) and in the cemetery on the other side of the footpath, where I found this stone angel.

I've been playing with Picasa 3.9 again, and this time had a go with the Zoom effect, as well as a little bit of toning work.
