The snow didn't last long. Overnight there was a big thaw and a lot of rain and in the morning it was all but gone. In its place was mist, damp and grey skies.

Today I experimented in Picasa 3.9 and applied the Soft Focus effect. I had applied and cancelled a whole series of effects before choosing this as the most suitable, but I'm not entirely sure I prefer it to the original. Carrie is C's female cat, sharing her home with male Maine Coon cross twins.
