Hare today...

We (embracing the snowy spell perhaps a little over-enthusiastically?) donned our waterproof and arctic clothing and went for a little walk around the village.

Did we look a tad eccentric? Nah.
(At least not until wet trouser-ends necessitated a pop sock tuck*. Me, not Himelf.)

The slushy thaw was setting in as we headed out towards open fields.
Up ahead of us on the track we saw three hares bounding in and out of the hedges.
We stood still for a while and were lucky enough to have them come closer.
What a delight!
Even so, this was the best shot I could manage.
(They'm a bit quick; hares!)

Note to self: DO buy some decent cold-weather hosiery.
They might feel useful but really....Ask yourself. Honestly. Pop socks?
